Bruce Benson has been a guiding voice in Jewish music for the last 30 years. From local song-leader for youth group events, to national song-leader for N.F.T.Y. From creative services in the 60's to nationally renown Cantor, Bruce Benson has left his mark upon the contemporary music of Jewish America. In his concerts and travels around the country, Benson has helped redefine the music scene of our generation. His album, THE JAZZ SERVICE recorded with jazz great KENNY G, has received critical acclaim, and continues to bring contemporary Jewish music to a new and larger audience. THE JAZZ SERVICE was the largest selling Jazz album in the Jewish market for four years.  His work on that album, along with many commissioned works for synagogue use and his series of Rock Services earned him a place in the recently published, CHOSEN VOICES, a history of the American Cantorate. With the release of his album, KI SARITA Benson continued on his quest to find a link between contemporary America and the lives of the Jews who live there. Whether performing alone, or with his band, T'ZUR YISRAEL, Benson's performances are always events that generate energy, excitement and a creative look at Judaism in the present and future.  Bruce has been seen in concerts around the country and was recently a special guest at the 60th birthday concert of Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul And Mary fame. Limited concert dates are still available for the 2006 season. Now is also a terrific time to consider dates for the 2006-2007 season. BRUCE BENSON can be presented either with T'ZUR YISRAEL or in a SOLO performance.
