Southwick Emergency Management Agency maintains a fully functional Emergency Operations Center immediately available with an alternate EOC provision if necessary.

Mobile Communications Vehicle (MCV)

S.E.M.A.'s Mobile Communications Vehicle entered service on June 13, 2004.  It is a 1997 Blue Bird TC-1000.  It replaces our 1984 Chevrolet Communications Vehicle which was retired earlier this year.  The MCV is a complete communications center on wheels ready to respond to any disaster, either natural or man-made.  The MCV can also function as a mobile Emergency Operations Center.  The MCV is completely self-sufficient and can travel to the scene of an emergency providing on-site communications and support services.
