Rescue 1
1998
Pierce/Freightliner-Rescue 1 is a 16 foot rear walk-in, on a Freightliner
FL-70 Chassis. It features a Hurst electric simulcast pump with the
ability to operate two hydraulic tools at the same time with dual 100' reels.
Contains cutters, spreaders, ram units, and dual crib drawers. A 25 kw PTO
electric generator supplying dual 250' electric reels, 4,800 watts of fixed
lighting and 4,000 watts of directional lighting. Rescue Alive sled, cold
water suits, related ropes and pfd's. Support medical equipment, back up SCBA
bottles, Spill control materials, Air bags, Recepicating Saws and a variety
of hand tools. The walk in portion is Air Conditioned and serves as command
for major incidents. It Features low, high, and ultra high radios. GPS,
cellular and hard wired phone communications, thermal imaging receiver and
monitors, and seating for four.
